As a part of the 2022 AES Remix Competition, I produced a remix of the song “South of the Water” by ACTIONS! Through various sound manipulation and processing techniques, my aim was to rework the original recordings into an entirely different listening experience without supplementary sounds or instruments. The resulting remix evokes new meaning and emotion from the source material while remaining recognizable to the listener.
